LinkMap respects the intellectual property rights of others. We are a directory of third-party websites: we do not host, store, upload or distribute any of the files, streams, or software available on the sites we link to. See our Disclaimer.
What we can remove
We can remove a link from our index. We cannot remove the underlying content — that lives on a third-party server and must be reported to the operator of that server or their hosting provider.
How to file a notice
Send an email to dmca@linkmap.in with the following, in English:
- Your full legal name, postal address, phone number and email.
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (title, author, and — if possible — a URL to the original work).
- The exact LinkMap URL(s) of the link(s) you want removed (e.g.
https://linkmap.in/browse/streaming-sites). - A good-faith statement that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What happens next
Valid, complete notices are typically actioned within a few business days. We may reply for clarification. Repeat or bad-faith notices may be rejected. Providing false information in a takedown notice may expose you to liability.
Counter-notice
If you believe a link was removed by mistake, send a counter-notice to the same address with your contact details, the removed URL, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was an error.
